Copy of part of a version of a bronze group (of Athena and Marsyas).
The statue:
- was made by the sculptor Myron in about 450-440 BC.
- was found in Rome, Via Sistina,Pincio, in 1884.
- is now in Frankfurt, Liebieghaus, 195.
