Oxford, Ashmolean Museum, Cast Gallery B034B.A sculptor of the island of Chios, working in the middle of the 6th century BC. He made statues for dedication on the Athens Acropolis, and a statue found on Delos, thought to be the first winged Nike (Victory), an innovation which was attributed to him by ancient sources
