Eubouleus

St. Petersburg, State Hermitage Museum 1659`Good counsellor', an important deity at Eleusis, playing a major role in the myth and rites of the Eleusinian Mysteries, especially as companion to Persephone on her annual return from Hades. He is represented as a torch-bearer in Eleusinian scenes.
