CAVI Subject: A: Odysseus and the Sirens. B: three Erotes flying over the sea (carrying taenia, wreath(?), and a hare, respectively).
CAVI Inscriptions: A: above the head of the left siren: hιμεροπα. Starting to right of Odysseus' chin: Ολυσ[σ]ευς. B: to left of the left Eros, retr.: κασος, miswritten for καλος{1}. Above the head of the second Eros: καλος. Above the head of the right Eros (the leader): hιμερος. Under the foot, Gr.: hε [[lig.]] in ligature, with a very short left vertical. See Johnston (1979), 97/11B,vi,25; the same occurs on Louvre G 180, by the same painter{2}.
