Alastair Harden

Alastair Harden studied Classical Archaeology and Ancient History at Christ Church, Oxford, and is now a PhD student at the University of Reading where his thesis is on the animal skin garment in archaic Greek art.  He has recently written the chapter 'Animals in Classical Art' for The Oxford Handbook of Animals in Classical Thought and Life (forthcoming, 2012), and is currently preparing the sourcebook Animals in Classical Literature: Ethical Perspectives for Palgrave Macmillan (scheduled for publication in 2013).
